Vectorization (Raster to Vector)

Vectorization is the process of taking raster image and converting it to a vector format. While a raster image is made up of pixels, which can produce low quality where as vector images are made of math equations so that no matter what size they are scaled to, the image quality will be the same.

Vector images are very useful, in fact a must in the graphics world. It is a means of securing quality and re-productivity. Having your logo in vector format can save you time and money, especially when moving from one company to another.
