We started out offering computer consulting & support along with decals and stickers. This has seemed odd to many, so I will explain the reasoning.
When I was still in school, I began working at a local engineering firm as their IT Technician. This was a part time job and soon most of the issues where taken care of. About this time, my interest in graphics grabbed me.
Up to this time, I had always been interested in drawing, drafting and working with colors. One of my teachers at school had a vinyl cutter and I had seen him use it many times. I started looking for a vinyl cutter to buy. This would allow my computer and graphics skills blend together. Design would be done on the computer and then sent to the cutter.
I found the vinyl cutter I wanted at an online store based out of Seattle. Not long after, at the engineering firm, the boss wanted to talk with me. With less computer work, I was given a choice. Do more day to day office tasks or start my own business and contract the work. I choose the latter.
With more freedom of my time, I learned more about making decals and started trying to find work. Knowing some about design, we started to design our own business cards. Upon getting quotes for a website, we found that it would be hard to buy what we wanted.
We started looking into website development and found this much easier to do ourselves. From there forward, we have offered these services (graphics, computer support & websites) to all of Vancouver and surrounding areas.
